We'd like to invite you to Farmer's Appreciation 2024
Howdy Y'all ๐ค
That there barn you see on the poster, was built by none other than my paternal Grandfather over 80 years ago and is still proudly representing the family farm near Fawcett, where we grew up.
Standing the test of time, that barn sheltered our 4-H calves and other animals and had many calves born in it over the winter.
It was a playground for cats looking for mice...
And always had the scent of fresh hay and manure.
When I see it, I immediately step back into my childhood.
My only wish were that I could see the life inside, and the activity that went on in that barn, prior to 1965...
Farm life is a special life... and that's why we'd like to invite you our 4th Farmer's Appreciation Night, we're calling "Country Roads, Take Me Home"...ย
This is one of our favourite events and we would love for you to join us.
We've got a full meal, music entertainment and none other than Jackie Rae from 840 CFCW helping us kick things off, along with two incredible guest speakers.ย

We are super excited to have the amazing Jackie Rae from 840 CFCW as our MC for this event. She is so engaging and loves our farming community.
With a full meal lined up including: beef on a bun, salads, beans, desserts, tea, coffee and a cash bar; our cousin Kyli of Rootin' Tootin' Boutin Catering will make sure you get more than enough to eat!
We have two fantastic Keynote Speakers - Chelsea Pellerin and Rod Carlyon, who are excited to share their experiences on the farm with you.
And last but not least, we plan to wrap up the night with local musicians "The Joe Ireland Band" and Special Guest Koltan Potts.
