Mental Health Week May 6-12/24
We are in our 10th year of continuing to create awareness surrounding mental health issues and suicide prevention. We have hosted over 53 events and workshops, offer resources and support to families during a mental health crisis, and also offer grief counselling.
We are cognizant of the stressors and issues that we all face on a daily basis, and how that can affect our mental health. We hope to continue to provide support and events for our community, and we definitely appreciate the support that we get back from the communities we have built - both in person and online.
CMHA's theme for this week is "Healing Through Compassion." Compassion is when you relate to someone's situation, and you want to help them. You see someone in trouble, and you feel like pitching in. Compassion connects us.
ACT OF KINDNESS CONTEST RULES
Take a picture of your act of kindness or self care practice, and share it with us on our social media, by tagging @soulsistersmemorialfoundation for your chance to win a prize. WINNERS will be contacted via social media. You will NOT be asked for money, gift cards, to make a purchase, or for any personal information - except your mailing address. CONTEST closes May 12, 2024.
