Everyone wears one. The “I'm fine” when you're not. The smile that covers a night you didn't sleep. We all put on a mask for the world — and most of the time, no one around us has any idea what's underneath it.
This year, Beneath the Mask is our invitation to you: come dressed up, wear a fun mask, and help us show our guests that no matter what mask you are wearing — we still see the beautiful human behind it.
That's the whole point of Soul Sisters. Ten years of it.

In the beginning, we couldn't have imagined we'd still be going strong ten years after we lost our daughter, Jeanelle.
She has been my purpose and the reason Soul Sisters exists at all. Through her passing, we've helped hundreds of people struggling with their mental health, and stood beside families who've also lost someone they love to suicide. The ripple effect of that support is the real testimony to what this foundation has become.
We are proud of the legacy we've built in her honor. And we are so grateful for the community that has carried us here, one project at a time.
— Christine Vachon, Founder

Returning for his 10th year as MC
This guy doesn't need an introduction — he's been part of Nelly's Project since day one, and we are so, so grateful. We call Danny our “secret weapon” — he's helped us raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for mental health initiatives and suicide prevention.
After 50 years in the entertainment business, Danny Hooper is still at the top of his game — over 40,000 hours behind a microphone as a professional MC, certified fundraising auctioneer, comedian, award-winning radio personality, TV host, and recording artist, still doing up to 100 events a year. Proud and protective of his reputation as an elite entertainer, he continues serving a client list that's employed him for 20+ consecutive years.

“One of the really neat things about Nelly's Project is both the silent and live auctions throughout the night. We've had everything from signed Oilers jerseys and hockey tickets to fishing trips in the Northwest Territories.
You never know what will be up next at Nelly's Project.”
